- We encourage you to join us in slow living and simply being yourself amidst the forests and clouds (if you happen to visit us during monsoons!). We urge our guests to be respectful of fellow guests, village residents and nature, and reconsider playing loud music.
- As we are in the wilderness, do reconsider before venturing outside on foot after darkness to minimize encounters with wildlife.
- We suggest seeking advice from locals regarding effectively and safely navigating the forests and villages. We believe in coexisting with nature.
- In keeping with our mindful living to minimize our impact on our surroundings and use resources wisely,
we do not have air conditioning and televisions in our cottages. - Water is a precious resource that we endeavour to use judiciously. While hot water is available for showers, there are no laundry services available.
- We do not have the option of checking-in after dark owing to the remoteness and terrain of our location and weather conditions.
- Airtel and Jio networks are reliable at Bhavatu. We suggest guests bring an appropriate dongle, especially if you plan on working during your stay. We do not provide Wi-Fi. Due to the remoteness of our premises, phone and internet connectivity may vary depending on the location.
- We do our best to keep our trace minimal – one way we abide by this value is disposing garbage appropriately. We encourage guests to use solid reusable water bottles and snack containers (basically anything besides single-use plastics) and dispose of garbage only in the provided bins.
- The property is pet friendly. Please let us know your pet’s details (kind, size) at least 1 day before your confirmed date of arrival. We may or may not be able to
accommodate your pet’s food requirements. It is crucial that your pet is indoors or on leash when outdoors after dark. - The property has outdoor parking and CCTV monitoring.
- This is nature at its best – unfiltered, untethered, and raw. We take reasonable efforts to make you aware of important information about nature’s elements to
know as guests. However, we do not accept any liability of injuries and/or any losses caused when on the property during your stay. - We require an original government issued piece of photo identity (e.g., Drivers License, Aadhaar Card) while checking-in.
